A bit more ...
Chenée's love of storytelling led to a career in journalism, where she got her start as a video journalist for WAtoday, and was named Best New Journalist at the 2014 WA Media Awards. She soon moved into television, reporting for Channel Seven's Today Tonight and Seven News. Chenée is currently part of the Channel Nine News team.
Outside of the media, Chenée has danced ballet and jazz her whole life, loving the stories that can be created through movement. It was this passion that inspired the middle grade novels One Wrong Turn and Breaking Pointe.
Chenée lives in Perth with her husband and two boisterous sons. She is assisted in her work by her writing buddy, muse and pet dog, Taco. While rumours of Taco being a horse are greatly exaggerated, he is indeed a ginormous, loveable, Great Dane.
